My resources are designed with learners who have additional needs or who are at Entry Level in mind. At the end is a feedback form along with assessment for learning emojis on each page of the resources. Although the unit covers the assessment criteria for the unit, Gateway Qualifications have not been involved in the design or production of the booklets. Rhyming Sensory Poem/Story on the theme of Spring The activities in this unit of work are interactive and promote learners’ understanding of spring through sensory and communication activities. The resources contain some real photographs so are appropriate for learners of older ages but can equally be used with younger children. Some are illustrations, but I believe could still be used with older age groups. All the activities are easy to deliver and simple to resource. They will not require extensive looking for equipment/items as most are in cupboards and around homes. Unit Contents Sensory Story in WORD and Powerpoint format. The powerpoint includes picture slides. Photo pack in PDF format using the images from the powerpoint. Alternatively, it could be used as the basis for lessons. The booklet does not contain answers.
